Welcome to the year 2010. This is our 49th season of Blastball, Softball and Slo-pitch in Parkwood Hills and surrounding areas. Parkwood Hills Softball Association ( PHSA ) is a house league and our purpose is to give the players an opportunity to have fun, develop some softball skills and learn team cooperation. Winning is secondary to good sportsmanship and the friendships we would like to see develop. We urge all players, coaches and parents to keep this in mind during the season, while playing or watching games.

Parkwood Hills Softball also offers co-ed recreational divisions for adults starting May 1st and running until mid September. All our divisions end the season with a round robin tournament.

Our youth divisions play starting May 1st and continue through until the end of June when they enjoy a year - ending BBQ and Championship weekend.

We are extremely proud of the contributions our association has made over the past years to local charities. We host annual events for the Heart & Stroke Foundation in May, Rogers House in July and for The Children's Wish Foundation in September.

Our Fees
Youth Division:
* Fee structure for youth 2010 season.
* Fee per player is:
    Blastball - $40.00
    Mite and Squirt - $70.00
    Bantam/Novice - $80.00
    Select team fees - To Be Announced

Adult Divisions:
$1300 per team.

Payment
We regret that we cannot handle payment by credit card at this time only cash or cheque. All cheques should be made payable to "PHSA". In the event a cheque is received back NSF then a service charge will be applied of $25.00 to cover our expenses.

NSF Procedures
All cheques returned to the "PHSA" will be subject to a fee of $25 to cover administrative costs. All returned cheques are to be repaid in one of the following ways: 1) cash, 2) money order, or 3) certified cheque.

All returned cheques are dealt with by our league treasurer, and you are responsible to have this matter cleared within 2 weeks of receiving notification from a "PHSA" executive member. You can find contact information on our league website contacts page. You are free to take care of this matter prior to being contacted as sometimes it may take a few weeks for us to receive documentation for the bank.

Failure to have cheques replaced will result in the loss of a spot in membership and/or a league suspension.

NO REFUNDS will be given out after June 1st of each year.

Game Locations
Our youth league plays all games strictly within the Parkwood Hills neighbourhood (Fisher Ave, Meadowlands Drive, Merivale Road area).

Our adult leagues play around the same areas plus as far East as Hunt Club and as far West as Greenbank Road.
